The Nuventus NV.C™ implant’s Sinewave Profile is designed to create deliberate space on the buccal and lingual sides around the implant platform.* Facially, the profile of a Ø4.3mm NV.C implant reduces the outer contour by 0.3–0.6 mm relative to a cylindrical Ø4.3mm implant.

Published evidence suggests that greater buccal bone volume supports peri-implant hard- and soft-tissue stability and contribute to long-term esthetic maintenance.^Ref

The Nuventus NV.C™ implant’s coronal flutes are designed to engage an undersized osteotomy, cut the cortical bone, and create bone chips.*

Independent research reports that preserving bone fragments and coagulum with high cellular viability and osteogenic potential inside the osteotomy may help support early healing and osseointegration.^Ref

The Nuventus NV.C™ implant’s coronal contour is designed to reduce pressure on the cortical plate at implant placement.*

Scientific literature indicates that reduced pressure may help maintain vascular supply and limit strain-related bone remodeling.^Ref

At the same time, the NV.C implant provides high primary stability through apical anchorage, which is particularly relevant for immediate treatment protocols.**

Strength for
lasting performance

The Nuventus NV.C™ NP Ø4.3 implant demonstrated superior fatigue strength compared to the benchmark RP Ø4.3 implant. Under ISO 14801:2016 test conditions, dynamic loading up to fracture or 5 million cycles at 15 Hz, the NV.C NP Ø4.3 sustained a higher maximum load of 430 N when positioned as intended, and 415 N when placed in a worst-case position, versus 390 N for the benchmark.*

The NV.C NP Ø4.3 exceeded the FDA’s recommended fatigue strength performance of 400 N for angled abutments in the molar region. The loading setup was performed at a total angulation of 40° (30° abutment angulation + 10° load angulation).*

Proven surface
technology

The Nuventus NV.C™ Implant features a non-porous, moderately rough, calcium phosphate–blasted (CaP) surface that provides a documented combination of cleanliness, biocompatibility, and long-term clinical reliability.

Unlike other blasting methods that use non-resorbable materials such as alumina or titanium oxide, both known to leave embedded residue, the NV.C surface is treated with granular, multi-phase calcium phosphate. Following passivation, this process yields a clean, residue-free surface.

Backed by decades of clinical use, this surface type provides surgeons with confidence in its performance during early healing and long-term function.^Ref
